Output42 History
Output42 was founded by four individuals with a passion for aviation and technology. Steve Crabb and Michał Pawlowski had previously led the development team for a large airline maintenance system. However, when the company decided to outsource their development team, Steve and Michał no longer had a future at the company and agreed to start operating on their own.
Driven by motivation they teamed up with Greg Micorek and Paul Crabb (not to be confused with Steve) to form Output42. With Steve and Michał's technical expertise, Greg's business acumen, and Paul's passion for aviation, the team set out to revolutionize the way aircraft engineers and mechanics do their jobs.
Output42's software solutions have changed the game in the aviation industry, providing engineers and mechanics with tools that streamline their work and make it more efficient. By digitizing maintenance records and providing real-time updates, Output42 has made aircraft maintenance safer and more efficient than ever before.
Today, Output42 is a successful company with a reputation for being innovative and forward-thinking. They're proof that sometimes, the best opportunities can arise from unexpected setbacks. And if you're looking for a team that's passionate, skilled, and dedicated to revolutionizing the aviation industry, you can't go wrong with Output42.

Meet Output42 founders
Steve
I wear a few hats in life - I'm a dad, a husband, an engineer, and a total thrill-seeker. You know, I used to be really into gliding, but it's
been a minute since I've been up in the air. I'm also a big cyclist, although I gotta admit, I'm kind of crash-prone. And then there's
kitesurfing...oh man, I'm terribly bad at it, but I just can't help myself. And of course, I'm a bit of a geek, too. I love diving deep into
the world of technology and all things nerdy. But hey, it keeps life interesting, right?
Greg
I grew up in a family that loved all things aeronautics - we spent so much time exploring the world of aviation. I've always admired the
people who work in this industry. It's true what they say - passionate people are the ones you can count on, whether they're in aviation or any other field.
After I finished university, I decided to combine my love for aviation with my MBA education and organizational skills. So, I teamed up with some
friends and started Output42, an international aviation software business. It's been an amazing journey so far, and I love what I do. It's
really fulfilling to deliver top-quality services to our clients every day.
When I'm not working, I like to challenge myself physically - whether that's on a bike or on a sports mat. It's a great way to clear my head and stay healthy.
Paul
I'm Stephen's identical twin brother so my traits are unsurprisingly similar. When I'm not beavering away on Output42 and Dent & Buckle projects
I split my time between racing gliders ( real gliders ), trying to keep my sons go-kart running and for the last 5 years I have also been
spending time doing sim car racing - it's so much cheaper than the real thing.
I am certainly in the nerdy / gadgety end of the scale and enjoy finding out about new technology and what makes things work. I studied
Mechanical Engineering and In the dim and distant past I helped design and build prototype aircraft, cars, boats and even a prototype roof.
Stephen and I have represented Ireland at numerous international gliding competitions, my only significant claim to fame
(in the world of gliding) is winning the European Gliding Championships in 1998.
Michał
I've been immersed in the world of software development for over two decades. It's not just a job for me; it's my passion. As the Chief Technology
Officer (CTO) of Output42 I'm always trying to bring my experience and knowledge to the table. Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to
work on various projects, each one pushing the boundaries of innovation. Whether it's developing robust applications or architecting complex
systems, I thrive on the challenges that come with creating cutting-edge software solutions.
Beyond the office walls, my personal interests align with my professional pursuits. Anything related to computers fascinates me. I'm constantly
exploring new technologies, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, and experimenting with different tools and solutions.
As an aside, I spend my free time on psychology and physics.
